Overview
Night Support Worker - Children’s Homes at Witherslack Group. Salary £30,849 - £33,896 (assuming good attendance). Hours: waking nights (4 on / 4 off).
Responsibilities
* Take care of the home and our young people through the night, supporting them during difficult moments and providing a sense of safety and trust.
* Respond to situations where a young person wakes up dealing with trauma, illness, upset or inability to sleep, and provide appropriate support.
* Build rapport and be someone the young people can trust in their time of need.
* Complete tasks around the home in quieter times, such as paperwork, cleaning and laundry.
* Work to understand each young person’s needs, personality and potential, guiding them toward a positive future.

* Salary: Base salary of £29,449 - £32,496
* Bonuses: £1,400 Attendance Allowance (assuming good attendance) and £1,000 Welcome Bonus

Requirements
* A 'can do' attitude; a team player who helps others

* Resilience to deal with challenging situations
* Full UK driving licence held for at least 12 months
* If you don’t have a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent), we’ll pay for you to study and support you
Training and Career Development
You’ll start as a Night Support Worker by joining our Care Academy – 4 weeks of off-the-job training with experienced WG professionals to help you feel confident and ready to support our young people.
