Water Technician / Van Driver – Coalville, East Midlands People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Water Technician / Van Driver – Coalville, East Midlands to join our well-established client based in Coalville, East Midlands. This position is ideal for applicants looking for a role as a Van Driver, Truck Driver or Delivery Driver. The ideal candiate must hold a Valid UK Category B Driving Licence Shifts • Monday to Friday • 06:00 – 15:00 Annual Salary of £29,000 Benefits As a Water Technician / Van Driver, you will receive: • Excellent salary • Permanent contract • Training provided • Immediate starts Day-to-Day Duties As a Water Technician / Van Driver, your duties will include (but are not limited to): • Deliveries with handballing • Operating and driving Van in a safe and efficient manner • Carrying out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections • Ensuring all cargo is loaded and secured correctly • Adhering to all traffic laws and regulations • Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers • Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance issues • Heavy lifting involved • Cleaning of coolers mixed with water Essential Skills To be considered for this role, you will need: • Hold a valid UK Category B Licence • Minimum of 6 months experience driving Vans • No more than six penalty points for minor infringements (no major endorsements) • Good level of English (spoken and written) • Punctual with excellent timekeeping skills • Good understanding of traffic laws and regulations • Effective communication skills • Physically fit due to the nature of the role Desirable Experience • Experience driving commercial vehicles • Previous multi-drop delivery experience Training Provided • Industry-related training and ongoing support Contact : If you are ready to take on this exciting opportunity, please apply with your CV or contact our team for more information People Solutions do not charge candidates any fees or request deposits at any stage of the recruitment process.
