Starting Hourly Rate from £ Hours per week. (Starting from - depending on experience)
Experience in General Practice is preferred however, training will be provided on-site.
A suitable candidate is:
To provide a high quality, professional reception, and administrative services to patients, doctors, staff, colleagues, health service professionals, and others. To act as the first point of contact for patients contacting the Practice and to portray the Practice in the highest possible professional basis. To ensure that enquiries from patients are efficiently and courteously handled to the mutual satisfaction of the partners and patients.
Greet patients and visitors to the practice.
Book in, amend, and cancel patient appointments in line with practice appointment procedures ensuring optimum efficiency of the appointment system.
Respond and/or redirect all patient and visitor requests accordingly.
Ensure reception and waiting areas are kept neat and tidy
Re-stocking of information leaflets, forms, sample bottles, etc. as appropriate
Answering incoming telephone calls, and ensuring calls are documented and redirected accordingly.
Undertake administration tasks as allocated by the Office Manager.
Ensure up-to-date maintenance of both computerised and manual filing systems (i.e. patient notes).
Check emails on a daily basis.
Regularly check tasks and notifications on EMIS Web.
Work across two sites, Harwood & Tonge Moor Health Centre.
