Job Title: Client Focal Point
A position has arisen for a Client Focal Point at our Altens base, with frequent travel to our Edzell base. This role involves being Peterson’s primary interface with the Client and third-party providers for service delivery, including investigating and resolving issues and queries.
The successful candidate will serve as the primary contact for the client on operational matters and lead assigned resources. They will coordinate the movement of client material flows through close liaison with internal functions, the client, and third-party providers to ensure customer demands and deadlines are met. Additionally, they will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date client and Peterson systems and records reflecting material movements and inventory on site. This includes planning vessel cargo operations in collaboration with internal teams, the client, and third-party providers.
The candidate should communicate effectively within a team, demonstrate excellent awareness of Health & Safety, and provide strong customer service. They should also be proactive, use their initiative, and be a natural problem solver.
Ideal candidates will have operations/logistics and warehouse experience, preferably with previous roles as a Materials Controller or Focal Point. Essential qualifications include a F/L Counterbalance Certificate up to B2 RTITB, COSHH awareness, experience with warehouse management systems (SAP), environmental/waste awareness, dangerous goods awareness, proficiency in MS Office, and a UK driving license.
