Everything you need to know about the role
As a Clinical Research Physician, you will support the delivery of both clinical trials and private services under senior clinical supervision, ensuring safe, compliant, and high-quality patient care.
You’ll be involved in:
* Conducting follow-up consultations and monitoring patient progress
* Prescribing and managing treatment in line with protocols and consultant guidance
* Reviewing clinical histories, results, and ongoing care needs
* Supporting informed consent and patient eligibility assessments
* Maintaining accurate medical records and study documentation
* Assisting with adverse event reporting and safety monitoring
* Supporting governance, audit, and inspection readiness activities
* Participating in clinical rotas and supporting service delivery
Experience and qualities that make you a strong fit
* GMC-registered doctor with strong clinical experience (Essential)
* Interest in clinical research and/or neurology, psychiatry, or related specialties
* Good understanding of clinical governance and GCP standards
* Strong communication, documentation, and organisational skills
* Able to work confidently across clinical and research environments
