IT Project Manager - Farnborough (Hybrid 3 days onsite) - Circa £465 per day (Outside IR35)
My client is a UK-based consultancy serving the UK defence sector. They are on the hunt for a IT Project Manager to join their existing experienced team. Whilst not a prerequisite, if you have existing SC clearance that would be ideal, however, it is not mandatory.
Role Purpose
Looking for a proactive and experienced IT Project Manager to work on MOD projects and help shape their "Secure by Design"offering. This role ensures that security is embedded throughout the acquisition lifecycle, enabling secure, resilient systems that meet Defence operational needs.
You will be responsible for coordinating governance across delivery teams, Defence Digital stakeholders, and suppliers, ensuring compliance with MOD security standards and assurance frameworks.
Essential Skills & Experience
Significant industry experience, including MOD secure environments.
Analytical skills to evaluate data and performance metrics.
Ability to operate at pace.
Experience in the selection and adoption of a project methodology to deliver projects.
Excellent inter-personal and negotiating skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Excellent organisational and leadership abilities.
Excellent time management skills.
