The Role
We seek a detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to support daily finance operations. This role is suitable for candidates at any career stage, including those studying AAT, fully qualified, or with relevant experience but no formal qualifications. The position can be full-time or part-time based on the candidate's preference.
Responsibilities
1. Maintain and process purchase ledger tasks, including supplier invoices and payments
2. Manage sales ledger activities like invoicing and receipt allocation
3. Handle supplier call files and reconcile statements
4. Perform bank reconciliations and support cashflow monitoring
5. Process weekly Bacs payments
6. Assist with general finance admin and support the team as needed
Candidate Profile
* Experience in a similar SME finance role
* Knowledge of purchase and sales ledger processes
* Proactive, eager to learn, and team-oriented
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
* Positive attitude and good work ethic
What We Offer
* Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 depending on experience
* Hybrid work (3 days in Bristol office)
