Supply Desk are seeking SEND teaching assistants for children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Teaching Assistant in Chichester
Starting from January 2026 on a long-term contract
Monday- Friday 8:00-4:00
£82-£95 per day (dependent upon experience)

Job Description:
* Some experience with children with additional needs preferred especially SEMH
* Desire to work throughout Key stages 1 and 2 (4-11 year olds)
* Working with small groups delivering interventions such as Reading, Maths, Literacy, life skills and social skills or 1:1 with specific pupils and supporting their needs
* Full time role with the opportunity of a permanent contract
* Location: Chichester
* Start Date: January 2026
* Contract Length: Long Term – Potential to become permanent
* Hours: Part time 32.5
Individual Profile:
* A nurturing and caring nature
* GCSE Maths and English to A- C grade
* Experience of working with children/young people
* Experience of working with adults and or children with Social Emotional and Mental Health issues
* Passionate, enthusiastic and proactive individual
* Knowledgeable about safeguarding
* Adaptable and sensitive when dealing with challenging situations
* First Aid trained or be willing to be trained
