Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Approved Electrician to join the team at their engineering company.
As an Approved Electrician, you will play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of industrial plant and machinery. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of industrial systems.
Carry out electrical installation of industrial plant and machinery at client sites and workshop.
Perform regular testing and calibration of systems, documenting results and ensuring systems operate efficiently at client sites throughout the central belt.
Diagnose and repair electrical issues within industrial plant and machinery or replace as necessary.
Collaborate with with engineers and other team members to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
Document all maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and replacements, in detailed reports.
Assist in planning and executing projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budgetary guidelines
Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as industry standards and regulations, to ensure quality workmanship and safety.
Fully qualified electrician with SJIB/ECS card and NVQ Level 3.
Experience in industrial electrical systems, particularly industrial plant and machinery.
Strong understanding of electrical schematics and blueprints.
Understanding of health and safety regulations related to plant and machinery in industrial environments.
Clean, full driver's license and willingness to travel to different sites within the central belt as required.
