Head Chef - OTE up to £50,000 - Basic of up to £47,500 plus tips (Based on figures from the last 6 months, could exceed that)

The
Ship Inn has built its trade on reputation and offering compelling reasons to visit,
attracting wide range of guest throughout the week. It is also supported by one
of the biggest Calendar events for Fuller’s.

The
successful candidate will need to balance a focus on high-volume, fresh food with
consistent quality. They will have strong organisational, leadership and
communication skills, and be able to build strong working relationships with
the senior team to plan menus for a range of different events and bookings.
These include


* Weddings - The Ship Inn
Langstone has a full wedding License

* Fireworks / Raft race -
Large free public Events

* Private dining - Tasting
evenings / Themed nights

* Associated food for
sporting events - Premium Sports TNT / World Cup large screen fan zone

* Wakes

* Refreshing the menu and
specials throughout the year, with a coastal and seasonal focus.


The
culture at The Ship is built around strong ethos of working together. Both the front-of-house
and back-of-house teams understand the “one team” mentality and the benefits it

The
Ship stays busy throughout the year, supported by a Sales and Events Manager,
and as well as its location and reputation.



















Food
service times are from 10.00 - 21.00 daily, including Breakfast, and until
22.00 at weekend.
