You'll take ownership of financial reporting and compliance across a diverse portfolio of companies, while also playing a strategic role in performance analysis, stakeholder engagement, and mentoring junior team members.
Financial Reporting & Control
Lead monthly and quarterly close processes across multiple entities.
Prepare and review management accounts with variance analysis and commentary.
Oversee statutory accounts, consolidations, VAT submissions, and intercompany reconciliations.
Maintain accruals, prepayments, and loan schedules.
Strategic Insight & Business Partnering
Deliver high-quality reporting using Power BI and other tools.
Present financial performance insights to shareholders and project boards.
Collaborate with technical and operational teams to align financial strategy with business goals.
Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure compliance with local GAAP and jurisdictional requirements.
Liaise with auditors and tax advisers during year-end and corporation tax processes.
Track deliverables tied to loan facility agreements and ensure financial integrity.
Process Improvement & Transformation
Enhance internal controls and support finance transformation initiatives.
Drive automation and system upgrades to improve reporting efficiency.
Leadership & Mentoring
Supervise junior team members and promote a culture of growth and accountability.
Oversee invoice processing, cash book maintenance, and customer billing.
About you:
CA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with strong technical accounting skills.
Experience in asset management, infrastructure, or project finance is a plus.
Advanced Excel skills; Power BI and debt/lender reporting experience desirable.
Excellent communicator with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
Comfortable working independently and engaging with senior stakeholders.
