Digital Marketing Executive

Location: Bristol - hybrid working 2-3 days a week office based

Salary: £30,000 - 35,000 per annum depending on experience

Job type: Full-time, permanent

We’re looking for a passionate, driven, and dedicated digital marketer who will grow with Fathom as it embeds its expertise within a rapidly scaling market in a tech-for-good scaleup.

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Digital Marketing Executive to join our growing marketing team. As a key player in our digital marketing strategy, you will support demand and lead generation functions by organizing, planning, and implementing campaigns alongside vertical marketing executives that drive top-of-the-funnel demand and nurture existing contacts through the funnel. You will collaborate closely with our agencies handling SEO, website UX, and PPC, providing support but not acting directly in these areas.

Your primary focus will be on executing activities through website content, sales outbound campaigns (like LinkedIn connection and InMail programs), and email nurturing campaigns. Additionally, you will assist vertical marketers with the digital execution of activities, including webinars, ABM programs, and events, ensuring workflows are set up and tracked effectively.

Reporting to the Senior Digital & Marketing Operations Manager, you will work closely with colleagues in audience marketing, product, and sales, supporting the team’s efforts to deliver revenue by deploying integrated marketing campaigns across our sectors—insurance, financial markets, and engineering. You will also structure campaign initiatives throughout the year, ensuring an even distribution of activities across these verticals.

Responsibilities

* Plan, and implement campaigns to drive demand and generate top-of-the-funnel leads.

* Support and execute sales outbound, and email nurturing campaigns alongside vertical marketers.

* Support the management of our digital channels, including the Fathom website, social media channels, and paid ads in conjunction with a digital marketing agency.

* Own the Fathom social media channels, primarily LinkedIn, sharing insights from analytics, writing and scheduling content.

* Aid vertical marketers in digital execution of activities, including setting up workflows, tracking campaign activities, and managing webinar logistics.

* Structure and manage campaign initiatives throughout the year, ensuring effective distribution across insurance, financial markets, and engineering verticals.

* Track, analyze and optimize campaign performance.

* Maintain good data hygiene to utilize CRM and marketing automation systems for end-to-end marketing campaigns.

* Prepare and present comprehensive reports to senior management on digital marketing activities.

* Work closely with the Senior Digital & Marketing Operations Manager to develop and implement the overall digital marketing strategy.

Requirements

* 2+ years of experience in B2B digital marketing, with a focus on demand and lead generation.

* Experience with CRM/marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot, Outreach).

* Experience in delivering multi-channel digital marketing campaigns.

* Strong understanding of digital marketing principles, including campaign management and data analysis.

* A genuine interest in climate science and environmental technology.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Passion for digital marketing and a desire to stay up-to-date on the latest trends.

* Technically minded and driven by data.

Nice to haves

* Experience working in a business that has long sales cycles and high value product offering.

* Experience in a SaaS or DaaS based company.

* Experience in delivering ABM campaigns.

* Proficiency in digital marketing tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog).
