Salary: Up to £24,993.00 per year (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)
Circle Health Group Decontamination is responsible for providing sterile equipment and instrumentation for surgical and interventional procedures across hospitals in Southeast England.
We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our Decontamination department team. This is a full-time role, 37.5 hours per week, with shifts from 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities
* Support the unit by completing administrative duties professionally, reporting to the Unit’s Administrator, and assisting the production and managerial teams.
* Support all aspects of the decontamination process related to instrumentation and endoscopy.
* Answer calls from customers.
* Use the booking system for loaning flexible endoscopes between hospitals and coordinate their delivery.
* Coordinate repairs and service contracts under supervision.
* Order supplies and manage stock levels.
* Generate weekly reports as directed by the Decontamination Manager and maintain timesheet records.
* Ensure compliance with all mandatory training requirements.
Candidate Criteria
* Good interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
* Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
* Attention to detail, organizational skills, and good follow-up abilities.
* GCSEs or equivalent qualifications.
* English and Maths at Grade 4/C or above.
* Post-GCSE qualifications are optional but advantageous.
