We are currently recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to work in primary schools across Carnforth, supporting pupils from EYFS to Year 6. Both part-time and full-time roles are available, with the opportunity to work in your preferred year groups.
The Role:
* Supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) including ASD, ADHD, SEMH and learning difficulties
* Working 1:1 and in small groups to support learning and development
* Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management
* Promoting positive behaviour, inclusion and engagement
* Creating a safe, supportive learning environment
Requirements:
* Experience working with children in schools or educational settings
* Proven experience supporting SEN pupils
* Knowledge of the primary curriculum (EYFS-KS2)
* Strong communication and behaviour management skills
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
