Commissioning Care Home Manager
Location: Wincanton, Somerset
Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time – 40 hours per week
Salary: £70,000 + 30% Management Bonus + Benefits including private health care, life insurance and excellent employer pension contribution (Bupa will double your contribution)!

About the Role
As a Home Manager, you will:
* Lead the setup and registration of the home with the CQC
* Recruit, inspire, and develop a high-performing multidisciplinary team
* Establish a culture of person-cantered care and continuous improvement
* Build strong relationships with local authorities, healthcare providers, and the community
* Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards
* Manage budgets and drive operational excellence
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a dynamic and compassionate leader with:
* Proven experience in managing or commissioning care homes
* Experience of managing residential, nursing and dementia homes
* Strong clinical knowledge and a relevant management qualification (LMCS, RMA, or equivalent)
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Commercial acumen and a commitment to quality improvement
* A confident, supportive leadership style
