Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 4:30pm
Contract: Temp-to-Perm
Pertemps Wolverhampton are recruiting on behalf of a long-established manufacturing company for a reliable and hardworking Press Shop Operative. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering long-term stability for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
Operating press machines within a busy manufacturing environment
Loading and unloading materials and components
Performing basic quality checks on finished parts
Working to production targets and meeting deadlines
Maintaining a clean and safe working area
Reporting any defects or machine issues to the supervisor
Supporting general duties within the press shop as required
Skills & Experience Required:
Previous experience in a press shop or manufacturing setting (preferred but not essential)
Ability to follow instructions and work safely
Good understanding of basic health and safety procedures
Strong attention to detail
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
