Key Skills required for the Role:
* CIPD Qualified (Ideally Level 5 or working towards)
* Strong HR Generalist with up-to-date Employment Law knowledge
* Proven experience providing high-quality Employee Relations (ER) advice
* Confident coaching managers and building trusted relationships
* Passionate about delivering a high-quality HR service
* Adaptable, highly organised, and willing to work collaboratively in the team.
* Willing to work hard, embrace change, and have fun in a collaborative HR team
What will you be doing?
As our HR Advisor, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering our people strategy and supporting our management teams through every stage of the employment lifecycle. No two days are the same. Your main responsibilities will include:
* Acting as the primary point of contact for Employee Relations, offering clear, practical advice and supporting managers through all ER processes
* Coaching and training managers on best practices in people management, empowering them to address team performance and ER issues confidently
* Collaborating with the HR and Payroll Administrator and Senior Payroll Officer to coordinate HR and payroll activities and the smooth running of the operational HR team, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
* Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and induction processes, ensuring a smooth and engaging candidate journey
* Developing, implementing, and updating HR policies and procedures in line with legislation and best practice
* Maintaining accurate employee records and providing people metrics to inform decision-making
* Supporting internal communications and helping to maintain our positive culture
* Ensuring HR compliance with employment law and GDPR
