Milk Education is recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Primary School Teaching Assistants to support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 on both a part-time and full-time basis throughout the academic year.
We are also working closely with a number of partner schools to support their long-term and permanent support staff appointments for September, making this an excellent opportunity whether you’re seeking flexible supply work or your next permanent role.

Primary School Teaching Assistant Role
You will work within primary schools, supporting children across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, helping to create positive learning environments where pupils can thrive and succeed.
Responsibilities of a Primary School Teaching Assistant may include:
6. Supporting the class teacher with lessons and classroom activities
7. Working with small groups or on a 1:1 basis with pupils
8. Supporting children with additional learning needs where required
9. Assisting with classroom routines and behaviour management
10. Encouraging pupil engagement, confidence and independence
11. Supporting children’s social, emotional and educational development
12. Helping to create a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment

What We’re Looking For in a Primary School Teaching Assistant:
22. A recognised Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare qualification (or equivalent Teaching Assistant qualification)
23. Experience working with children in a nursery, childcare or primary school setting
24. A genuine passion for supporting children’s education and development
25. A reliable, adaptable and proactive approach
26. Availability for at least 1–2 days per week (flexible)
