Location: Buckingham Park Primary School, Shoreham-by-Sea, BN43
Contract: Part time, Monday to Friday 9am to 1:30pm, term time only
Starting date: Monday 1st December
Salary: Grade 4
Are you looking to make a real difference in a supportive and welcoming school community? Buckingham Park Primary School is seeking a dedicated and organised Clerical Admin Assistant (Main First Aider) to join our friendly team.
As the school's primary first aider, you'll play a vital role in supporting the health and wellbeing of our wonderful pupils and staff. You'll provide first aid support, handle emergencies with confidence, and carry out a range of clerical and administrative tasks to help keep our busy school running smoothly.

We are looking for someone who:
* Has strong organisational and communication skills
* Can remain calm and caring in emergencies
* Is reliable, flexible and works well as part of a team
* Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
* Able to support children with known medical conditions, in line with their individual health care plan, and supervise children who need to take approved medications.
Applicants should have experience of paediatric first aid and a 'First Aid at Work' certificate would be preferable. Previous experience of working in a school environment and knowledge of Bromcom systems is preferable, however, training will be provided for the right candidate. You will also be required to undertake mandatory First Aid training as necessary.
