Clinical and managerial supervision is embedded in the role. The skill mix consists of consultant psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, psychiatric nurses, occupational therapists and a social worker. Local induction will be provided and there is opportunity to access specialist training specific to the role. A good understanding of safeguarding children procedures is an essential requirement of the job along with excellent communication skills as you will be working with families sometimes in times of distress.
