Affinity Care Recruitment is working in partnership with a respected childrens residential care provider to recruit a passionate and experienced Registered Manager for a new provider in Portsmouth.
This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a service from the ground up, with full autonomy to shape the culture, team, and outcomes for young people backed by a provider committed to delivering outstanding care.
Responsibilities
* Oversee the setup and registration of a new childrens home with Ofsted
* Lead and manage daily operations, ensuring the highest standards of care and safeguarding
* Recruit, train, and supervise staff, fostering a positive and professional team culture
* Develop and implement individual care plans tailored to each childs needs
* Maintain effective communication with children, families, staff, and external agencies
* Monitor staff performance and provide ongoing support and development
* Manage budgets and resources to ensure efficient and effective service delivery
Responsibilities

* Monitor staff performance and provide ongoing support and development
* Manage budgets and resources to ensure efficient and effective service delivery
Experience & Requirements
* Proven experience in a management role within a childrens residential setting
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (Children & Young People) or equivalent (ESSENTIAL)
* Strong understanding of Ofsted frameworks and safeguarding legislation
* Excellent leadership and communication skills
* Full UK driving licence & access to vehicle
* Right to work full-time in the UK
