Position: Warehouse Manager
Location: HM Prison Drake Hall
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Salary: £35,000 up to £37,000 (Depending on experience)
Shift Pattern: Monday To Friday Working Hours
PLEASE NOTE: The role is based within a Prison. You will be required to under-go an Enhanced Security Vetting Process if you are to be successful for this position.
HMPPS provides prisoners with the means to order goods using their own funds. At DHL, our role is to manage the picking, packing and distribution of these orders. No two days on our HMPPS contract are the same! You will play an integral role in the prisoner's lives, working with a diverse team to support their rehabilitation.
WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
* Warehouse Manager with the overall responsibility of the day-to-day running of the Warehouse Operation (based onsite at the Prison)
* Line management of the Warehouse Supervisors, Team Leaders, Order Distributors and overall supervision of the Prisoners whilst they are at work
* Ensuring compliance to Health & Safety as well as Prison rules and regulations
* Staff training and inductions
* Meeting and exceeding operational targets
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
* Previous experience leading, managing or supervising a team
* Previous stock management
* IT literate to enable accurate and timely reporting
* Have a can-do attitude, right first time and passionate approach
* Enhanced security clearance is a mandatory requirement for this role
