Job Description
The successful HSE Advisor will:
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on construction sites.
* Conduct site inspections and audits to identify potential risks and recommend improvements.
* Provide guidance and training to staff on HSE policies and procedures.
* Supply reports to the senior leadership team.
* Develop and maintain risk assessments and method statements for ongoing projects.
* Investigate incidents and near misses, producing detailed reports and recommendations.
* Collaborate with project teams to implement safety measures effectively.
* Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and meets legal and organisational requirements.
* Stay informed about changes in HSE regulations and industry best practices.
* Be site based in Newmarket the majority of the time.
The Successful Applicant
A successful HSE Advisor should have:
* Relevant qualifications in health, safety, or environmental management.
* Experience in the construction sector within the property industry.
* Previous experience of high-value, complex projects.
* Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and compliance requirements.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management at all levels.
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and risk management.
