English Teacher – Full Time
We are currently supporting a welcoming and well‑resourced secondary school seeking an enthusiastic English Teacher to join their team from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive English department that values creativity, high standards, and a genuine passion for developing students' skills in reading, writing, and communication.
The Role:
* Deliver engaging English Language and Literature lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 available where appropriate)
* Inspire students to develop confidence and enjoyment in English
* Plan and deliver high‑quality, well‑structured lessons
* Assess, monitor, and support student progress effectively
* Contribute to a positive and ambitious learning culture
* Work collaboratively with a dedicated and supportive department
What We’re Looking For:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
* Experience teaching English in a secondary school setting
* Strong behaviour management and classroom presence
* A genuine enthusiasm for English and student progress
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
