Qualified Social Worker - Early Help and Assessment Team Usk, Monmouthshire, South Wales A Qualified Social Worker is required to join the Early Help and Assessment Team for Monmouthshire Social Services. This is an initial 3-6 month contract with potential to extend beyond this time period. A car driver is essential for this role as you will be expected to travel throughout the County. Hybrid working is offered for this role, and in general it would be ideal if you could work on site 3 days per week. Pay rate is in line with the ADSS All Wales Pledge of £30.50 PAYE and up to £38.43 Umbrella. Duties and responsibilities of this role: To manage a caseload of complex and diverse cases, involving assessments, reviews, preparation of reports Court attendance To complete quality assessments of individuals and families To formulate plans to meet assessed needs and risks building on strengths of children, families and carers To implement agreed plans to safeguard children and to increase the capacity and resilience of their parents and/or carers Participate in office duty and respond to crises, as and when required To apply for this role, you will need to hold - A minimum of 6 months experience of working in the UK as a registered social worker A relevant Social Work Qualification Registration with Social Care Wales / Social Work England Enhanced DBS, registered on the update service or be happy to apply for a DBS 3 Years of referencing Driving license with access to a car Benefits of working for Hoop: 20 years’ experience of the Social Work market Your local agency based in Cardiff Welsh-speaking consultant available should you wish to converse in Welsh throughout your job search PAYE and Umbrella payroll options available – you choose!
