I’m looking for an ambitious Sales & Account Manager interested in career progression at a small business. Site Planner Ltd has been trading for over three years, has a growing customer base including national and international charities, and is now in a position to expand, which means I can offer excellent long-term job prospects for the right person.
Candidates should be comfortable working independently, adept at forging close working relationships remotely, and able to manage workload within normal office hours.
Initially responsible for a number of existing client accounts, the successful candidate will be supported in developing relationships and adding new clients of their own. To achieve this, they will also build strong relationships with suppliers and gain a good understanding of the venues that are available across the UK.
Site Planner Ltd has built a reputation for fairness, good practise, and customer service, and I’m looking for an individual who would be proud to uphold those values.
Role Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain relationships with all stakeholders at each client organisation to understand their individual needs and help them navigate access to venues.
* Work closely with the MD and use the resources he has developed to speak with knowledge and confidence about venues nationwide.
* Attend client meetings to build relationships with potential and existing clients.
* Manage new bookings from initial enquiry, through licensing and installation, to ongoing management, successfully resolving any conflicts of interest between client and venue while maintaining both relationships.
* Administrative duties including licensing and risk assessment (training provided).
Candidate Specification:
* Approachable with good customer service and interpersonal skills
* Excellent communication skills; comfortable on the telephone
* Able to prioritise a busy workload with good organisation and attention to detail
* Able to balance competing priorities and demands
* Adept at managing difficult relationships
* Strong sense of initiative and personal ownership
* Ability to work independently with limited input once objectives have been set
* Excellent IT skills and ability to learn new computer systems
* Previous experience in commercialisation, or managing face-to-face fundraising or face-to-face acquisition sales preferable but not necessary
