TIG Welder
Recruitment Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a client based in the Cowley area for an experienced TIG Welder. This role involves the manufacture of automotive exhaust systems from start to finish within a busy production environment. The position is suited to welders who can demonstrate strong welding quality and are confident working with TIG welding as the primary method.
The successful candidate will join a site that builds exhaust systems which are fitted to a variety of automotive vehicles before leaving the plant. Training is provided, but the client is specifically looking for individuals who can hit the ground running and contribute from day one. Weld tests will be required as part of the selection process to confirm skill level and suitability.

1. Working hours are on a fortnightly rotating shift pattern, Monday to Thursday: Earlies: 06:00 – 16:00 Lates: 16:00 – 02:00 hours per week

About the role
Working as a TIG Welder, you will be responsible for building exhaust systems from scratch. Various components are produced by machines and then passed to you for welding into a complete exhaust unit. While a range of welding techniques may be used, TIG welding is the main process for this position.
You will be expected to consistently produce high-quality welds that meet the client’s standards. As part of the recruitment process, candidates will be required to complete a weld test or trial on site so the client can assess welding quality and overall competency.
There is also occasional optional overtime available on Sunday mornings.
About you
To be successful in this TIG Welder job in Cowley, you must have previous experience producing quality welds and be able to demonstrate this experience in a similar role. Confidence working independently, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain consistent weld quality are essential.
You should be comfortable completing a weld test prior to placement and be prepared to work rotating shifts. While training will be provided, this role is best suited to welders who are already experienced and ready to perform immediately within a production environment.
