Exciting opportunity for an experienced Art & Design Lecturer to join them on a fixed term basis, to cover maternity leave. You will deliver L1 UAL Diploma in Art, Design & Media, L2 UAL Diploma in Art & Design and L3 UAL Applied General Extended Diploma in Art & Design.
About the role
As the Art & Design Lecturer you will have the enthusiasm and drive to delivery these vocational programmes. Your role will include:
* Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and effective lessons aligned with the curriculum and assessment requirements.
* Create a positive and supportive learning environment that motivates students to achieve their full potential.
* Assess, review and record learner progress.
* Maintain course and learner records.
* Embed employment skills into the curriculum courses.
Qualifications
To fulfil the role of Art & Design Lecturer you will have:
* Degree in a relevant Art & Design subject (Fine Art, Graphic Design, Illustration or Photography).
* Experience teaching in FE is a distinct advantage.
* Teaching qualifications – or be prepared to work towards this with their support.
* Recent graduates and people looking for a career change may be considered.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team and be skilled in the use of IT.
