Job Description
* Build and maintain strong, long‑term customer relationships
* Develop and manage an active sales pipeline, identifying, progressing, and securing new opportunities
* Collaborate closely with product and pricing teams to create competitive value propositions
* Independently manage customer appointments and on‑site visits
* Maintain all appointments and opportunities in the CRM system, ensuring high data quality and adherence to sales KPIs
* Prepare and share detailed customer visit reports internally
* Follow customer onboarding processes and support the creation of SOPs to ensure operational excellence
* Build and maintain strong internal and external stakeholder networks
* Attend UK sales and other internal meetings as required
* Participate in weekly meetings with the Commercial Manager (via Teams or face‑to‑face)
Candidate's Profile
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in a commercial sales role
* Strong commercial awareness of customers and industries within Air & Ocean Freight
* Proven experience in Air & Ocean sales and operations
* Ability to develop value‑adding customer solutions
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Strong relationship‑building and stakeholder management skills
* Highly organised, self‑motivated, and target‑driven
* Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
* Experience preparing client proposals and quotations
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Valid UK driving licence and right to work in the UK
