About the Role:
In this key management position, you’ll oversee the planning and delivery of fire door installation contracts across multiple sites. You’ll ensure that all projects are completed to the highest standards of safety, compliance, and workmanship while managing labour, materials, and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the day-to-day operations of fire door contracts, ensuring smooth planning and execution.
*
Manage all relevant documentation including Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and health & safety records.
*
Stay current with health and safety regulations, implementing necessary updates to working practices.
*
Supervise the installation and inspection of fire doors, ensuring both quality and regulatory compliance.
*
Plan and coordinate material deliveries and workforce scheduling to meet project timelines.
*
Accurately quantify and cost fire door installations.
*
Conduct site surveys and attend meetings with clients across the Midlands and London, and a full UK driving licence are essential.
*
Maintain up-to-date CPD (Continuous Professional Development) records. Support for further professional training, including SMSTS and industry accreditation, will be provided.
About You:
*
NVQ Level 3 in Carpentry (or equivalent qualification).
*
At least 3 years of experience working in the fire door or wider passive fire protection industry.
*
Strong organisational, leadership, and communication skills.
*
Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
*
FIRAS or Q-Mark experience is desirable but not mandatory.
*
Self-motivated and professional, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
*
Willing to travel, with occasional weekend work as needed.
