MRO Engineer – 12-Month Contract (Outside IR35)
💷 £35–£45 per hour | 🏡 Hybrid (2 days office initially, moving to fully remote)

We’re currently seeking a highly experienced MRO Engineer to join a cutting-edge engineering team on a 12-month contract basis. This role sits outside IR35, offering excellent flexibility and competitive hourly rates.
🔧 About the Role
You'll be responsible for developing and implementing innovative repair solutions for gas turbine components, balancing short-term operational goals with long-term strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will bring a robust understanding of gas turbine operation, repair development, and regulatory compliance across the land and marine sectors.
🔑 Key Responsibilities

Analyse component non-conformances and support repair substantiation for engine overhauls.

Develop, recommend, and implement repair techniques aligned with business and safety standards.

Update and refine repair documentation, including engine repair manuals.
*
Deliver technical data presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
*
Ensure compliance with engineering standards, export control, and IP policies.
*
Collaborate with global cross-functional teams in design, stress, materials, and systems engineering.
