What you bring:
* Proven experience as an administrative assistant is a bonus

* Strong organisational skills and multi tasking abilities
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Qualifications in business admin is a plus, but certainly not essential

We are seeking a dynamic and organized individual to join our team in Cambridge, CB2 0AA as a Meeting & Events Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing meetings, conferences, and events for our company.
Responsibilities:
* Plan and coordinate all aspects of meetings, conferences, and events
* Work closely with internal teams to understand event objectives and requirements.
* Develop event timelines, budgets, and logistical plans.
* Coordinate with external vendors and suppliers to negotiate contracts and ensure timely delivery of services.
* Manage event registration processes and attendee communications.
* Oversee onsite event execution, including setup, registration, attendee assistance, and troubleshooting.
* Monitor and evaluate event performance, gather feedback, and make recommendations for improvement.
* Maintain accurate records of event expenses and budget allocations.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience in event planning and coordination, preferably in a corporate or hospitality environment.
* Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
* Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality and memorable experiences for attendees.
* Proficiency in event management software and tools.
