Tynecastle Nursery School
Tynecastle Nursery is housed within Tynecastle Stadium in a purpose-built nursery space. Opened in 1929, the nursery continues to be highly regarded within the community. It benefits from a diverse social and cultural mix of families, which is one of its main strengths. A skilled, dynamic, and motivated staff team supports the children and families. The nursery is registered for 55 children aged 2-5 years.
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Early Years Practitioner for a permanent position. The successful candidate will work shift patterns between 0800hrs and 1800hrs, Monday to Friday, including some late shifts on rotation each month.

This role involves regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will need to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. If you have spent three or more months outside the UK in the last five years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. Employment is contingent upon satisfactory completion of these checks.
