We are working with an international business who are specialists in their sector with over a 100 years’ market knowledge. They are searching for a new Logistics Administrator to support their Supply Chain team and be a key contributor within the business.
Job Role
In this role you will take responsibility for managing the supply chain, processing purchase orders, monitoring shipments, arranging customs clearance, organising storage and outbound logistics to customers.
Responsibilities
1. Serve as the main point of contact for customer and partner queries and issues resolution
2. Process and track sales orders through to delivery and invoicing
3. Maintain organized records of sales transactions, product/pricing data and customer interactions
4. Liaise with external cold stores for upcoming shipments and release of stock to third part transport companies
5. Work cross-functionally to coordinate order fulfilment and logistics as required
6. Handle general administrative tasks including documentation, data entry, scheduling etc
7. Build strong working relationships with customers, transport partners, internal teams etc. through regular communication
8. Identify process improvements for streamlining operations and enhancing customer satisfaction
9. Experience of dealing with 3rd party logistics providers
10. Proven work experience as an Administrator, Sales/Order Coordinator or similar role
11. Intermediate proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft office applications
12. Strong verbal and written communication abilities
13. Excellent organizational skills with acute attention to detail
14. Customer service oriented with problem-solving aptitude
15. Self-motivated with ability to work independently as well as cross-functionally
