An outstanding specialist school in Cranleigh is currently looking for dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join their team. Surrounded by beautiful specialist grounds and equipped with sensory learning environments, outdoor education areas and therapy spaces, this school offers a truly enriching setting for both students and staff. Supporting learners aged 5:19 with autism, communication difficulties and complex needs, the school delivers highly personalised learning through small classes and integrated therapeutic support. Position Details:
* Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
* Full:time, Monday:Friday (08:30am : 4:15pm)
* Located in Cranleigh, Surrey

Responsibilities:
* Supporting students on a 1:1 and small group basis
* Assisting teachers with personalised learning activities
* Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
* Helping students develop communication, independence and life skills
* Supporting community:based learning activities and work:related experiences
* Assisting with personal care where required
* Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists and families

Requirements:
* A patient, resilient and compassionate approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* SEN or Teaching Assistant experience desirable but not essential
* Willingness to undertake specialist training
* Ability to support students with complex communication and behavioural needs
* Eligibility to work in the UK
