Job Summary: Are you ready to start a rewarding career in Site Management? Our Trainee Assistant Site Manager scheme is your pathway to becoming a qualified Site Manager, offering hands-on development, training, and mentorship to build your expertise.
Primary Responsibilities:
1. The Trainee Scheme: Duration of 2-4 years, including a 2-year development course at our Training Hub in Solihull, and enrollment in Level 4 Vocation Qualification (Construction Site Supervisor with NHBC). Additional training includes HSE, Building Regulations, and Drawing Interpretation. You will participate in business masterclasses, insight days, and quarterly reviews for development planning.
2. Recognition and Rewards: Competitive salary starting at £27,500 - £33,300, with incremental increases upon milestone achievements and qualification completions. Regular development conversations and targeted support are provided to ensure progression.
3. Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with managing subcontractors and suppliers, including planning, communication, conflict resolution, and logistics.
* Attend health and safety training, assist with statutory documentation, and review safety procedures.
* Observe and learn customer interactions, coordinate with sales and subcontractors on customer options.
* Assist in site inspections, quality control, and customer care during property visits.
* Learn site presentation standards and protocols.
Qualifications and Technical Requirements: Relevant construction qualification, site experience, or a 2:2 degree in a Built Environment; driving license or ability to access remote sites; willingness to travel; full UK work rights.
