Job Description
Key responsibilities for the Group Accountant include:
* Working with the Group Reporting Manager to deliver a consolidated monthly P&L and balance sheet
* Manage monthly reporting from UK and International subsidiaries
* Prepare Bank reports and Board reporting packs
* Prepare information for statutory accounts for UK businesses.
* Take ownership of the group consolidation
* Play a key role in the preparation of statutory accounts and annual tax returns
* Deal with recharges and inter-company reconciliations
* Develop accounting processes and procedures
* Involvement in annual Group audit process
* Supporting the Budget and Forecast process
The Successful Applicant
The successful applicant for this Group Accountant role should have:
* A formal accountancy qualification - ideally ACA or ACCA
* Experience of statutory accounts and audit processes
* An understanding of reporting under FRS102
* Multi-currency experience would be advantageous
* The ability to work quickly, independently and to a high level of detail
* Strong IT Skills - Netsuite would be preferred!
* Excellent presentation and communication skills
What's on Offer
This Group Accountant role offers a base salary of circa £60,000 + benefits including pension and 25 days annual leave.
The role also offers hybrid working, with 2-3 days per week in either the Kent or London office.
