Band 6 – Full Time Permanent Post
(Part time hours will be considered)
With effect from 01 April 2026, NHS Scotland is reducing its full time working week from 37 to 36 hours per week, there will be no change in full time pay.
We are delighted to invite applications for a Band 6 Specialist Physiotherapist to join our Orthopaedic Physiotherapy Team at Ninewells Hospital, Dundee.
Our Team Work Across Three Main Areas
 * Trauma Inpatient Orthopaedics
 * Elective Inpatient Orthopaedics
 * Burns and Plastics Inpatients
In addition to the areas above, the team also provides input into the major trauma pathway in the East of Scotland Major trauma centre, Ninewells.
The team are dynamic, flexible, and work closely with the wider MDT to provide complex assessment, rehabilitation and discharge planning. This post offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your clinical expertise in a supportive and forward-thinking environment, while contributing to safe, effective, and person-centred care. The team are committed to 7 day working and this would be part of this role.
