You will be joining a busy and highly regarded litigation team and work closely with experienced Partners and Senior Solicitors, contributing to complex legal matters involving statutory interpretation, legislative frameworks and the duties and powers of public bodies. The work includes representing clients in significant judicial reviews, appeals and public inquiries, often involving issues of national importance. This is a unique opportunity to become part of a highly ranked L500 department and work alongside renowned experts in the industry.
Responsibilities
* Contribute to complex legal matters involving statutory interpretation, legislative frameworks and the duties and powers of public bodies.
* Represent clients in significant judicial reviews, appeals and public inquiries.
* Collaborate with Partners and Senior Solicitors to deliver high-quality dispute resolution services.
* Support clients across Scotland with a focus on public sector litigation.
Experience / Qualifications
* A 3-5 PQE Solicitor with experience in Dispute Resolution.
* A client-focused mindset is essential.
* Strong technical and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to manage a demanding and varied caseload.
* Confidence working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Commitment to delivering clear, thoughtful advice within tight deadlines.
