Are you passionate about providing exceptional customer service and interested in being part of the vibrant wedding and hospitality industry? We are currently seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our front of house team, primarily for taking great care of the venue and our guests’ safety and experience during the night when they stay with us.
About us
The Woodmans Arms is a family-owned and award winning gastropub like no other. We’re a destination venue worth travelling to with hand-crafted cocktails served by real people alongside incredible food from the heart. Our multi award-winning family-owned pub and restaurant is situated in the scenic town of Whickham, on the outskirts of Newcastle upon Tyne.
The Willows is a bespoke rustic wedding & events venue in Newcastle and is nestled within the esteemed grounds of The Woodmans Arms. Surrounded by breathtaking rural landscapes and overflowing with character, our venue offers an unforgettable setting for any special day.
The Nest is a collection of bespoke luxury loft suites, each with their own personality. Guests can book online for a countryside night away, or they can be a part of a wedding party.
Key Responsibilities:
•Maintaining safety and security for guests staying in our suites
•Managing the on-call phone to answer when guests have any issues
•Being able to be the welcoming face of the business outside of trading hours
•Complete cleaning and ad-hoc tasks as instructed at the start of each shift
•Assisting with event setup for weddings and other functions.
Requirements:
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•A friendly and outgoing personality.
•Ability to work efficiently to resolve guests’ queries
•Previous experience in hospitality is preferred.
•Must be available to work on weekends.
•Must be aged 18 year or over due to nature of the job
•Own transport is necessary due to the location of the venue.
