Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced Class 2 Refuse Driver to provide holiday cover for a busy local authority waste management team. This is a 2-week temporary role with the potential to become a temp-to-perm position for the right candidate.

You will be responsible for driving and operating a Class 2 refuse collection vehicle, working alongside a team of loaders to ensure safe and efficient collection of waste and recycling from residential and commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities:
* Operate a Class 2 (Category C) refuse collection vehicle.

* Work closely with refuse loaders to complete daily collection rounds.

* Ensure all waste is collected and disposed of in accordance with safety and environmental regulations.

* Complete vehicle checks and report any faults or defects.

* Maintain a high standard of customer service and professionalism at all times.

Requirements:
1. Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.

2. Valid CPC (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence).

3. Digital tachograph card.
