We are looking for a highly skilled SIA Licensed Security Officer to provide a secure and safe environment for all staff & visitors on site. This will be achieved through applying thorough access control procedures, carrying out site inductions, planned & ad-hoc site patrols together with other duties as determined by the Assignment Instructions. In the event of an emergency follow prescribed escalation/communication procedures with Site Management, Corps colleagues and the emergency services. You will be working an average of 60 hours per week. The shift pattern will be Monday to Friday 06:00-18:00. A valid SIA Door Supervisor License - essential Ability to work to deadlines, multitasking and working under pressure. Excellent IT Skills including Microsoft Software Packages (e.g. Excel) Able to achieve vetting to BS7858 Standards Full UK Driving License What are you going to do: High standards of performance, professionalism, and customer service at all times. Full compliance with operational instructions (e.g. alarm responses, building access, production) and external regulations. Reporting/Escalating issues following Chain of Command. Adhere to a strict dress code at all times set out by Corps Management and the customer. Produce clear, logical, and well-written operational reports to required timeframes. To be fully conversant with site systems and procedures. Support Corps Security and site management teams in identifying and implementing service improvements. To build relationships with internal and external guests to enhance the security provision. To have a deep understanding of all changes in building occupiers, set up and productions; and to ensure information is passed both upwards and cascaded downwards. Maintaining safety and security through the operation of the integrated security systems. Liaise with supervisors and both Corps Security Management with regards to building maintanence and H&S issues. Liaise with external authorities including Police. Ensure all policies and procedures are followed. Providing immediate response in the event of any minor/major incidents, ranging from responding to medical incidents, fire alarm activation/evacuations and crisis response.
