Your Role
and What You'll Be Doing
Working across our national Client Services team, you’ll be a key member of the team acting as a key point of contact for clients and third parties involved in legal matters. You’ll work closely with our fee-earners to support them with any administrative, secretarial and non-billable tasks as well as providing exceptional client service.
1. Support the delivery of high levels of client communication. Providing support wherever possible across the team and clients by dealing with queries and enquiries and ensuring Partners and fee earners can respond to queries from clients and other parties.
2. Making sure all team files are in good order and databases are kept up to date and providing general administrative support to Partners and fee earners.
3. Co-ordinating fee earner diaries – arranging diary appointments, organising meetings.
4. Book travel arrangements and accommodation in accordance with our Policy
5. Prepare papers for meetings ahead of the meeting in a timely manner, take minutes of meetings and produce those minutes as soon as possible after the meeting.
6. Work as efficiently and cost effectively as possible. Avoid use of budget for activities which are not essential or business critical.
7. Maintain email distribution lists; ensuring they are kept up to date.
8. Regularly undertake file closure activities, ensuring electronic and paper matters are closed and retained in accordance with our Retention Schedule.
9. Ensuring safe keeping of client original documents and that such items are returned to clients at the end of their matter.

10. Proven legal experience in a comparable position
11. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
