What You Will Do
* Lead and inspire cross-functional teams (sales, technical, supply chain, commercial) to deliver the sales strategy, achieve growth targets, and build a high-performance, digitally enabled culture.
* Develop and execute a sales plan to expand market share in protein fortification, launch new products, and maintain a strong project pipeline with existing and new customers.
* Forecast and achieve sales, profit, and volume targets while leveraging competitor insights and adapting strategies to surpass goals.
* Build and strengthen customer relationships, co-develop tailored protein solutions, and oversee contract negotiations to maximize value for customers and the company.
* Lead contracting and pricing processes, embed best practices, and position Ingredion as a premium provider of specialty ingredients.
* Coordinate with technical service, supply chain, finance, marketing, and customer service to deliver fast and seamless customer support.
* Act as the voice of the customer, accelerate adoption of new products, identify growth opportunities, and ensure an outstanding customer experience across all touchpoints.
What You Will Bring
* Extensive experience in protein sales with established customer contacts in the protein industry, ideally in plant-based protein.
* Academic background in food science, business, or economics plus commercial experience in specialty food ingredients, chemicals, or related industries; understanding of protein technology is a plus.
* Proven leadership and sales track record with strong management skills, team development, and a history of driving projects and business results.
* Strong commercial and strategic acumen, including business strategy development and cross-functional collaboration.
* Digital fluency and technical knowledge, with skills in data management, digital tools, and knowledge of food processes and ingredient functionality; fluent in English.
