Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Pay Rate: £90.15 - £99.65 per day
Location: Birmingham
Hours: 8:30am 3:30pm
Are you experienced in supporting students with challenging behaviour in PRU or Alternative Provision settings?
Smart Education is recruiting for a resilient and passionate Teaching Assistant to join a specialist setting in Birmingham, working with students aged 8 to 19 who have complex additional needs including SEMH, MLD, ADHD, and BESD.

Key Requirements:
* Must have experience working in a school setting supporting students with challenging behaviour ideally in a PRU or AP
* Minimum of 6 months experience working with SEN learners
* A valid Child or Child & Adult Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
* Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
* Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
* A calm, patient, and empathetic approach
* Ability to work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams to implement support strategies
