£120,000 – £130,000 + bonus
I’m working on a standout opportunity with a leading national, multi-office law firm, looking to appoint a Partner & Head of Department to lead and grow its highly regarded Corporate & Commercial team in Nottingham.
The role
You will take full responsibility for the Corporate & Commercial function, leading a team of five lawyers while maintaining a strong personal practice.
You’ll play a key role in:
* Leading, mentoring, and developing the team
* Driving recruitment, growth, and succession planning
* Overseeing quality, delivery, and client service
* Contributing to strategic decision‑making
* Collaborating with senior leadership across the firm
Alongside this, you will continue to advise on high‑quality corporate and commercial matters.
Work highlights include
* Complex commercial contracts (agency, distribution, IT, outsourcing, supply)
* Full M&A lifecycle, including due diligence and negotiations
