This is a role with purpose. As a Support Worker, you will play a key part in helping adults with intellectual disabilities live well and enjoy greater independence.
Experience in care is helpful, whether gained through paid work or supporting family, but it is not essential. We offer full training for people who are compassionate, patient and ready to learn.
About the Role:
* Support with daily living tasks such as cooking, shopping and housework.
* Assist with personal care, medication and health-related needs.
* Follow individual support plans that encourage choice and independence.
* Participate in social activities and community outings.
* Keep accurate records and report any concerns promptly.
* Work closely with colleagues and external professionals to ensure consistent, high-quality support.
* Maintain a safe and positive environment for service users.
About You:
* Caring, reliable and patient.
* Good communication skills and the ability to build supportive relationships.
* A willingness to learn and adapt to changing needs.
* Experience in care is helpful but not required. Full training is provided.
* A driving licence is an advantage but not essential.
