Overview

Unqualified Teacher/Cover Supervisor with FREE TRAINING PROVIDED. Secondary School roles in Swindon and surrounding areas.

Protocol Education are working with secondary schools in the area to appoint enthusiastic and enterprising, unqualified teachers and cover supervisors to join their staffing and cover teams. These positions provide a great start to your career within the education sector or add to your growing experience.


The Role

* As an unqualified teacher/cover supervisor, you are responsible for supervising work pre-set in accordance with the schools’ guidelines, and ensuring such work is carried out to the best of their abilities.
* To manage the behaviour of pupils whilst they undertake their work and ensure a constructive and positive environment is always enforced.
* De-escalating situations within the classroom in the correct way while following safeguarding procedures.
* Collecting work at the end of the lesson and returning it to the appropriate recipient.
* Reporting any safeguarding concerns using the school’s referral procedures and safeguarding policies.

* Excellent communication skills; verbal, written and reading comprehension.
* Degree educated.
* Proven track record of positively impacting the lives of children (this can be in any field).
* Right to work in the U.K.

Details

Start date: ASAP

Contract Type: Full and Part Time available

Pay: £95 - £150 (dependent on experience)

Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm; part-time positions are also available

Location: Roles in Swindon and all surrounding areas


Notes

If you are a lecturer or have previous coaching or education experience, or have a specialism in a certain subject, this role could be ideal. This role is also suitable for candidates with teaching experience outside the UK who are seeking to build experience within the UK and may not have UK teaching qualifications (QTS). All applicants must be living in the UK with a current valid right to work. This role can provide insight into teaching and the classroom for future teacher training decisions.

All pay rates quoted are inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available later.
