Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Supervisor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the hospitality and culinary fields, demonstrating exceptional leadership and team management skills. This role involves overseeing day-to-day operations by supervising staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, managing inventory, and implementing company policies, often filling in for the Manager in their absence.
Responsibilities
* Assist in supervising daily operations, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality service
* Train and mentor staff, promoting teamwork and effective communication
* Maintain high standards of service and customer care.
* Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed
* Collaborate with staff to ensure seamless service delivery
* Handle customer inquiries and feedback with professionalism, enhancing the overall dining experience
* Participate in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for new dishes
Requirements
* Proven experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or hospitality environment
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
* Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management and development
* Familiarity with barista duties is advantageous but not mandatory
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact positively with customers and staff alike
* A passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional service
* Availability for weekend and evening shifts.
