Job Description: General Sales Assistant.
Location: Chepstow Garden Centre.
Working Pattern: Monday and Tuesday 10am - 5:30pm, every other
Weekend, Saturday 10am – 5:30pm, Sunday 10am – 5:30pm.
Please note that in January to the third week of February the store closes at 5pm and working hours will be adjusted in this period.
We are currently looking for a General Sales Assistant to work in our shop floor department, someone with high standards, a good work ethic and a good level of flexibility.
Please note due to the seasonal nature of our business we do not allow holidays to be taken in April and May.
Main Duties/Tasks:
· Stock replenishment.
· To be ready to recommend products to customers and suggest items to meet their needs.
· To take an active role in display and presentation, cleaning, and other maintenance.
· Display and Merchandising.
· Ensure that all items are clearly priced.
· Excellent customer service.
· Till operation cover.
Requirements:
* Good Communicator.
* Good Team Player, driven by the desire to deliver 100% customer satisfaction.
* Flexible with working hours due to the nature of the business.
* Health and Safety Conscious
* The position will require a lot of heavy lifting, so a good degree of fitness is required.
Salary and Company Benefits:
* Starting salary exceeds age related minimum wage up to £12.30 per hour.
* 28 days annual leave including paid Bank Holidays, pro-rata basis for part-time employees.
